Gaistal with Dogs

Important Notes

• 🐄 Livestock: Cows and sheep graze in Gaistal. Always keep dogs on a leash when livestock is nearby — even well-trained dogs can startle animals.
• 🚧 Cattle grids: Some paths have cattle grids. Carry small dogs over them.
• 🏠 Alpine huts: Not every hut allows dogs indoors — outside they are usually welcome. If in doubt, just ask.
• 💧 Water: Gaistal has several streams — plenty of drinking water for your dog along the way.
