Ganghoferweg – Circular Tour
A leisurely circular walk through the entire Gaistal along the historic Ganghoferweg – passing the Hämmermoosalm, Gaistalalm and Tillfußalm.

The shortest and easiest walk in the Gaistal – on a wide, well-marked path to the award-winning Hämmermoosalm at 1,417 m.

Südwandsteig – High Alpine Pastures Circuit
Large circular tour along the south face of the Wettersteingebirge – 24.4 km, 1,280 m elevation gain, approx. 9:45 hrs from car park P2 'Stupfer', passing the Wettersteinhütte and Wangalm.
Hike to the Rotmoosalm
Hike to the Rotmoosalm Gaistal: 8.5 km, 825 m elevation from Salzbach car park (P3–P5) – peaceful alpine scenery, overnight stays possible, dog-friendly, approx. 5.5 hrs.

Hike to the Wangalm Gaistal: 8.2 km, 555 m elevation from Stupfer car park (P2) – dog-friendly, overnight stays possible, views of the Wetterstein range.
Wettersteinhütte
Direct hike to the Wettersteinhütte at 1,717 m – starting point for the Gehrenspitze and Scharnitzjoch with magnificent views into the Karwendel. Note: the hut is currently unstaffed.
