Gaistal – the quiet side of the Olympic Region

While Seefeld is known for skiing, golf and the Olympic stadium, the neighbouring Gaistal offers the authentic Tyrol: no ski lifts, no hotel chains — just alpine meadows, mountain streams and staffed huts.

Gaistal is in Leutasch, a municipality of the Olympic Region Seefeld, and is reached via a toll road. It is considered one of the quiet gems of the Tyrolean Zugspitze region — ideal for hikers who want to escape the crowds.

From Seefeld, Gaistal is reachable in approx. 30–40 minutes by car — a perfect day trip during a holiday in the Olympic Region.
